A family centre built for real learning
We are teachers and musicians who opened North York Tutoring Centre so more students could get patient, personal attention — without the noise of a big institution.
Who we are
A family of educators and musicians. We started the centre in August 2023 as COVID was ending, when our community needed reliable, kind tutors.
How we teach
We meet each student where they are. Lessons are calm, structured, and encouraging. Progress matters more than perfection. Parents receive clear communication so everyone stays on the same page.
Where we are
Conveniently located at 1108A Wilson Avenue (Keele & Wilson) with four plazas nearby. Many students also learn online when that works better for the family schedule.
What we teach
Core academic subjects and music lessons for children and teens. Lessons available at the centre and online.
Math
From foundations through Grade 12. Clear explanations, patient practice, and steady progress toward stronger skills.
French
All levels. Speaking, reading, writing and listening with a practical, encouraging approach that helps language stick.
Music
Piano, guitar, violin, ukulele and theory. Taught by musicians who love helping students find joy in making music.

Payment & lesson policies
- Easy Payment Options
- Start with one week if you prefer, then monthly payments in advance
- Missed lessons (student or teacher) — a make-up is offered and must be completed within the paid period
We give every new family a simple one-page copy of these rules so expectations stay clear and fair for everyone.
